Laser Designator

The Laser Designator provides a unique capability to Special Forces Forward Observers and Recon men. The system can recognize targets in day/night/obscured conditions, range to the target via a non-lethal wavelength, and calculate grid coordinates with its own GPS/Elevation/Azimuth capability. The system then provides this information to other members of the Digital Battlefield who can react accordingly. In basic terms, it turns the Special Forces operative into an F-15 or a B-2 Stealth Bomber on legs.

Medikit

The Medikit contains cutting-edge equipment for the immediate treating of battlefield trauma in a hostile environment. Blood clotting agents, government-issue painkillers, sterile dressings, steroids and all manner of hypodermic injectors enable the soldier to effectively help their wounded buddy and get him up and fighting again. A skilled medic with a deep understanding of combat wounds and their treatment operates quicker than others.
