Studio Update

Tuesday, 4th April, 2006 - Studio

It is been a while since our last update, but rest assured that things continue apace here as always. Progress on the next Pivotal product for the next gen systems is really coming together. Needless to say the power available in the new systems is quite remarkable, enabling us to really crank up what it is possible to achieve. Expect great things from our design, programming and art teams with this game. The whole studio has been really relishing this challenge and really excelling themselves. You are going to love what we have been up to when you eventually get to see it next year when it is released!

Within the next few months an announcement will be made about the game and what we have been up to, till then just watch this space

Jon Bridges

Wednesday, 11th January, 2006 - Studio

It is with great sadness that we must announce the death of one of our artists, Jon Bridges.

Jon was killed instantly in a car crash on the 6th January 2006. He was only 23 years old.

We are simply devastated by this loss. Jon was an incredibly talented and dedicated individual. Most important of all, he was just such a nice person to work with. He made an exceptional contribution to Pivotal and he simply loved his work and his work loved him. He had a wonderful career stretching out ahead of him and he was due to be promoted at the end of this month.

We plan to plant a tree in his memory next to our offices that we can look at as we work. It is a small gesture but one we think Jon would have liked.

I am sure you will join with us in sending our heartfelt sympathies to his family, his fiance and her son.

Thank you Jon for everything you did for us. We feel just so fortunate to have known and worked with you. We will always miss you, but we will always remember the difference you made to Pivotal. Your legacy will live on with our company.
