Frag Grenade

Developed over the centuries, grenades come in many shapes, sizes and guises. The M67 Frag Grenade is designed to cause damage via fragment on detonation, sending shards of ragged metal through the close-range air at lethal velocity. Most effectve against softskin vehicles and unarmoured humanoids, body armour reduces the risk of fatality, but still allows for damage to be dealt. Their indescriminate explosive nature means they should never be used near friendly troops. With a steel sphere body, the kill radius is 8m, casualty radius upto 15m and fragments can disperse upto 250m away.

WP Grenade

The M34 White Phosphorous Grenade (Willy Petes / WP) is a special purpose grenade. The WP filler burns at a temperature of 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. It is effective at burning through many materials. If some touches human skin, it will continue burning through the body until it is dug out with a knife blade. Death is not instantaneous; it takes a few moments for the WP to reach vital organs and critical nerve centres. Water just makes the reaction worse.

Flashbang Grenade

Flashbang grenades (or stun grenades) can blind and deafen anyone within their blast radius. The closer a person is to the blast, the more blind and deaf they will be. If they are at the edge of the blast, they may only be partially affected. Flashbangs' blasts are much more intense indoors than outdoors.

Smoke Grenade

M18 Smoke Grenade should be used as a distraction and as cover. Although the M18 is very effective against tanks, it tends to draw enemy small arms fire. It should still be used as a break contact, cover device because, although the enemy are firing into the smoke, they cannot see through it and have no idea of the position of troops. It is therefore always best to pop smoke before running out into the open in a strong enemy presence.
